Carpmaels
26th Jun 2012 - AP
Won by 94 runs - NRR = 4.7
CIPA once again batted first, and a great start from the Lindsey family had the run rate over 12 with 10 overs down. This slowed a little towards the end, but an impressive 185 for 5 was posted.
Chris Milton took the usual spot occupied by Stuart Lumsden, first change bowler once the openers had gone. Carpmaels put up a good fight at the start, but it dwindled to the inevitable CIPA victory as the wickets fell.
Special mention goes to Jake Flint who scored his first run for CIPA (at the third attempt) and also took two catches and a direct-hit run out. Meanwhile, Mark Jolly's search for that elusive boundary continues...
